During most of the 20th century, Yalta was the principal holiday resort of the Soviet Union. In 1920 started the transformation of the city and the entire region from a fairly exclusive resort area into a recreation facility for tired proletarians, all of that by the decree “On the Use of Crimea for the Medical Treatment of the Working People”, which was issued by Vladimir Lenin. A cook in ancient China discovered that a mixture of sulphur, saltpetre, and charcoal was highly flammable and would explode if confined in a small space. Go_A is a Ukrainian folktronica band. They would have represented Ukraine at ESC 2020 in Rotterdam with the song Solowej. However, the competition was cancelled because of COVID-19. The band will represent Ukraine at ESC 2021 instead. The group was founded in 2012 by Taras Shevchenko. The members are from different regions of Ukraine. The first song of the group Kolyada was released in December 2012. Die Band wird die Ukraine stattdessen beim ESC 2021 vertreten. Die Gruppe wurde im Jahre 2012 von Taras Schewtschenko gegründet. Die Mitglieder stammen dabei aus unterschiedlichen Regionen der Ukraine. Das erste Lied der Gruppe Kolyada wurde im Dezember 2012 veröffentlicht. Nachdem sich die Gruppe am 8. Februar 2020 erfolgreich für das Finale qualifizieren konnte, gewann Go_A am 22. Februar 2020 das Finale des Widbir.

In my languages’ classroom at school in England, the teacher had put up a tourist poster of an amazing fantasy castle which I later found out was called ‘Neuschwanstein’.
